I ordered a Dining Bench from Wayfair and another Dining Bench from another company last month, the couch came within 2 weeks, the Dining Bench, still hasn't arrived. I want to thank Wayfair for fulfilling their end of the sale. Service was great, shipping was fast, and delivered with care. I only wish they had the other Dining Bench as I'm quite sure I'd be enjoying that as well right now. I at 1st felt Wayfair prices were a bit higher than other retailers, but I'm at the point I'd rather pay the extra just to rest assured that I will receive my order. Check the Return Policy
This is the absolute next step that I take. There is no use getting all excited about the item if returning it is next to impossible. Because the fact of the matter is, there are always going to be times that your choices don't work. In fact, many times I order more than one of an item (more details below), so being able to easily return one or more things is an absolute. Most site return policies are located at the bottom of the home page. There should be a clickable link for shipping, handling and returns. You want to make sure that it's easy to return or bring back any items to the brick & mortar store. Many sites have free returns, but many don't. How you choose to proceed is a personal preference, but I prefer to take them back to the brick and mortar store. unless the company has free shipping for returns. I will warn you to watch out for many overseas companies. Not that you shouldn't purchase from them, but you may need to analyze your decision in more detail (see below). This is only because many of their return policies are not always economical or easy.
Wayfair has a great selection of furniture and decor with great and affordable prices. Their shipping of 1-7 days is excellent for customers even though one of the carriers is awful. The customer service department has a team that is very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful, always listening to the customer's needs and finding the right solutions immediately. I had a situation with a sectional that, supposedly, one of the carriers delivered but I never got it. Wayfair contacted the carrier to verify what happened and they said that the driver left it on the first floor of my building, but he never called to notify me about. The customer service representative immediately processed a replacement of the furniture and I got it in 7 days.
